Cada temporada, cansadas ya de la estación en
la que llevamos algún tiempo, una pregunta recurrente: ¿Qué se va a llevar esta
primavera Di? Y yo, que podría dar una charla de 2 horas porque a estas alturas
ya me he empapado las revistas de moda de unos cuantos países, visto los
desfiles por internet de mis preferidos y revisado las pre-colecciones de
algunas tiendas, veo la cara de alguna que me mira asombrada y me dice: “Yo eso
no me lo pongo ni de coña”.
Y lo entiendo, porque ¿a quién demonios se le
ocurre pensar que un naranja y vibrante, un azul neón o un fucsia te vaya hacer
algún favor en este momento? Con la cara amarilla o… blanca para las
afortunadas (¡el blanco por lo menos pega con todo!), los pies en esas botas
calentitas sin pedicura necesaria, algún que otro kilo que de momento importa
menos….vamos, que vivan el negro y el gris!
Pero necesitamos alegría YA! SOLUCIÓN: ACCESORIOS
LOW COST (aclaro que, mi religión excluye de esta categoría bolsos y zapatos;
duro, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer ya para cambiarlo y además mi madre no
me lo perdonaría). Propongo relojes grandes y de color, cinturones, fulares
(que son mi perdición), collares y pulseras tribales o de colores vibrantes (me
ha dado por ellos esta temporada y siempre estoy buscando el siguiente). Irán
marcando el camino hacia tus tendencias preferidas sin tener que invertir en
algo que de momento, ni sabes si llegarás a estrenar!
Esta
semana te proponemos un accesorio por día esperando que añadan panache a tus
nuevos looks.

During this time of the year, my friends always ask me the same question – “What´s in style this Spring Di?” At this point I could give a 2 hour speech for my answer because I´ve already read every magazine, watched every runway show of my favorite designers (still via the internet unfortunately), and reviewed all of the pre-collections in the store and I see the look on my friends’ faces as they say, “I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that!!!”

It seems that this upcoming
spring is going to be all about vibrant oranges, neon blues, and bright pinks. Who
the hell pulls that off right now? Do stores realize what happens to us through
the winter season? our faces become pale from the lack of sun; our feet have
been toasty in our winter boots, so a pedicure is needed; and we might have a
gained a pound or two. LONG LIVE BLACK AND GREY!
Yet that craving for something different still lingers. The
Solution — inexpensive accessories (I must clarify that my principles do not
allow me to include shoes and handbags in this category. I just can’t do it and
plus, my mother would never let it slide!). In my personal opinion these should
be considered more as investment pieces). I propose large colored watches,
belts, scarves (my ultimate weakness), necklaces, and bracelets in tribal and
vibrant colors. These accessories will lead you along the path of discovery and
will bring into focus just how you can make the vibrant colors of the season
work with your personal look (all of this without having to invest serious
dough!).
